SHIPPING In most cases, your order will be shipped out the same day provided it was received by (PST). We ship UPS Ground unless you request otherwise. Please allow additional time for special orders. Shipping charges are Freight-On-Board (FOB) shipping point. We will ship the most efficient and economical way. Most of our orders are shipped UPS, Truck Carrier, FedEx, or Parcel Post. Progress customers may also request their own shipping method to meet their individual needs. Shipping through UPS, USPO, or FEDEX will have limitations on overall box sizes (130" total girth allowed). Charges are incurred for packages weighing over 70 lbs. Certain orders may require trucking freight method. These shipments are usually sent freight collect.
SHIPPING CHARGES Please note that your order will reflect only the total amount of the item(s) in your shopping cart. It will not include any shipping and packing charges. These charges will be added once we determine the package weight and destination. We will email you the total amount of your order including exact shipping charges with the tracking number as soon as it is ready for delivery.
SHIPPING SHORTAGES OR DAMAGES Since title of goods sold shall pass to the customer upon delivery through a carrier at point of shipment, claims for any shortage or damage must be filed with the carrier promptly by the customer to prevent a loss. If shipment arrives with visible damage it must be noted on the freight bill PRIOR to signing off. If requested, we will assist you in filing for the claim, provided that we are notified immediately after the verified delivery date.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS International shipments are sent via UPS. We are not able to ship any hazardous products internationally. International freight must be prepaid. Customs duties are the customer's responsibility. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards and wire transfers. All transactions are to be paid in U.S. currency only.
BACKORDERS Items not currently in stock will be placed on backorder status unless otherwise requested. Backorders receive our priority attention when restocking shipments arrive. Items that are on backorder are indicated on the shipping invoice.
HAZARDOUS MATERIALS AND ADDITIONAL FEES UPS charges a HAZMAT fee of $20.00 for each hazardous shipment sent via ground and $30.00 for each package sent via air. Additionally, some items have to be packaged separately and/or cannot be shipped via air. We can not ship any hazardous materials internationally.
SPECIAL HANDLING Additional fees may be accessed by some carriers for delivery to a residence, lift-gate delivery, or front door. If you are uncertain about additional shipping charges that may apply to your order contact us with any questions.
RETURNS Progress Machine and Tool Corp. will accept product returns on merchandise provided the product isreturned unused, undamaged, and in the original packaging. We will not accept returns on special order items, video tapes, or discontinued items. A return authorization number must be obtained from Progress Machine & Tool Corporation. All returns (including small objects) should not be placed in an envelope. Returns without a proper return authorization number or improperly packaged returns will be refused. All return items should include a copy of the sales invoice and a note that explains the reason for the return. All shipping and insurance costs are the customer's responsibility.
- Returns made within five (5) workingdays from purchase may be returned for a full refund.
- Returns made within thirty (30) days may be returned for a credit toward future purchases.
- Returns made after thirty(30) days will incur a 20% restocking fee from Progress Machine & Tool Corporation.
The returned product must be shipped back to Progress freight prepaid and insured at the full 100% product value. We will not pay shipping costs. Hazardous materials such as solutions, chemicals, flammable or combustible products, wires and casting grains are non-returnable.
Upon return with an RMA number, we do not accept, collect, or C.O.D. shipments. Any items we authorize to be returned to our expense should be via the carrier we specify. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee for catalogued items returned after 30 days. Items made to your specifications are not returnable. Returns will be credited in the same manner they were paid.
Items that are returned must have an RMA number via e-mail or a signed fax. When calling for a return authorization number, please have all your paperwork available such as the packing slip, invoice, or other pertinent information. An RMA number will not be provided without the necessary information.
